The Trait report and response styles have been combined into the Full Trait Report. You can find the response styles at the bottom of the same page as the traits.
Since this is a new report, you may need to update your report list. You can easily do this by opening the project, selecting Settings from the menu, and visiting Reporting.
TQ Nordic’s skills tests have been updated with new research; however, the level of difficulty and what we measure remain the same. The main difference is that the time spent is no longer visible to the candidate. This adjustment was made with the candidate experience in mind and to avoid discriminating against any group.
When evaluating percentiles, the correct interpretation is:
1-30 = below average
31-69 = average
70-99 = above average
The skills tests are calibrated so that the time spent per question determines the score.
To create a comparison group, you need at least 100 people. We will also work closely to ensure that the results included are valid and have a good distribution.
Each time the group grows, we must manually ensure its validity—this usually happens about once a year.
The equivalent of Dimensions is TQ Personality. The team profile is still based on Belbin’s team roles, but since our questionnaire for TQ Personality has been updated, the result report will not be the same as it is associated with a questionnaire with different items.
However, if you have worked with our team reports before, you will find it familiar and still be able to obtain similar information as in Dimensions.
For TQ Personality & TQ Motivation, no adjustments are necessary as these results do not factor in any time aspect. However, it may be useful to consider during feedback if the candidate has had difficulty responding to various statements. We recommend having an open dialogue, discussing the results, and allowing the candidate to explain how they experience different situations using examples.
When it comes to the skills assessments, we can adjust the time the candidate has to complete the test, from a 5-100% time increase (in 5% intervals). This allows the candidate more time per question. Internally, you should agree on how much additional time to allocate (depending on variations) to ensure consistency and that all your candidates are assessed fairly.
TQ Nordic has also integrated all our tests with Recite Me. This enhances the user experience by offering customized features directly in the test environment, such as easy-to-read text, language translation, and more, to facilitate use for individuals with various needs and preferences.
The reports that can be shared with a non-certified person are all those that end with “manager,” “candidate,” and the team report. The new candidate report is also more comprehensive. However, our recommendation is always not to provide a non-certified person with reports; instead, ask them to take notes on the insights you share during a feedback session.
The report is “only” the result; it does not include your analysis and feedback—meaning the manager misses out on a lot of information that you, as a certified person, hold. It is often this service they are seeking: our analysis, interpretation, and dialogue with the candidate.
The DNA report is based on the questions from TQ Personality. The potential score, shown on a scale of 1-5, indicates how strongly the candidate’s results align with the potential factors. We do not count the number of correct answers as we do in the skills tests.
For those who already have or have had a leadership role, we instead recommend the Leadership Profile, where we assess specific leadership traits measured to varying degrees.
